Crafted in the early 1800s by Mr John Floris, White Rose became a favourite of Florence Nightingale, who had bottles shipped out to her while nursing in the Crimea war.  In our Jermyn Street boutique, you can read a treasured letter from Florence in which she expresses her gratitude to Mr Floris and her favourite fragrance.

    Beautiful

    I have searched my whole adult life for a perfect rose scent, and here it is. A pure, kind, and gentle floral fragrance that smells clean and lovely. Just like a flower. Just like scents should. I would put this on my toddler daughter. It's truly a perfect scent for anyone who wants to smell clean and lovely.

    I love this perfume

    It smells like roses with a musky powdery undertone. The smell transports me back to the time when I first smelled it. It was in winter . I was wearing cashmere and there was a wood fire in the room.
