In the cannon of perfumery, vetiver is a considered one of the true classics – all at once elegant, refined, crisp, smoky, earthy, and cooling. Cultivated in India, the scent is distilled from the Vetiver root, a grass that grows to 5 feet in height, of long thin and rigid vibrant green rods. The oil produced is vicious and amber in colour. In aromatherapy, is it known to calm the nervous system and act as a restorative salve to the senses. Vetiver was introduced into the Floris fragrance collection in 1873. The exotic aromas, vibrant colours, and energy of India were bottled in this scent.

A fresh, woody and boldly aromatic fragrance open with a crisp lift of juniper, paired with clean citrus notes of mandarin and bergamot. Echoing the woody notes of Vetiver, 71/72 opens with a citrus flourish, leading to an aromatic heart of lavender, sitting upon a base of Sandalwood and Frankincense.



Orange and bergamot blended with lavender and neroli give this scent its classical cologne aspect. Citrus and Aromatic come together to perform an elegant dance, mimicking the earthy freshness of Vetiver. No.89 offers a classic cologne aspect, marrying the traditional masculine accords that a reminiscent of the Vetiver Eau De Parfum ledger. Ian Fleming was a renowned aficionado of No.89. 




A woody fougère with its origins in the timeless sandalwoods of a bygone era, Santal is a contemporary archetype of our men’s signature collection. Picking up the spice of clove, black peppers and aromatics of lavender and nutmeg, this scent pulls at the strings of sandalwood and frankincense, notes which front and center of Vetiver.
